1. On 01FEB2021, the PA A-school list will be open to new prospective
students to meet future workforce projections.
2. Commands shall submit the most recent A-school request form found at
ref (a) for new students and students desiring to switch A-school list.
3. Requirements have been updated. Members shall complete their
PA Screening per ref (c) within nine months of being placed on wait list.
Members shall work through assigned chain of command to begin the PA
screening. Commands should coordinate the screening process though the
PA Rating Force Master Chief and a PA Chief assigned to the nearest
District PA office.
4. Members who have waited for the list re-opening and/or are
considering  switching from a different list should have discussions
with their COs or OICs regarding impacts to their careers to include
potential high year tenure concerns.
5. Unit COs and OICs along with the Gold/Silver Badge network and
Chief's Mess are encouraged to distribute this message throughout the
Non-Rate community for maximum visibility.
6. This ALCGENL will remain in effect until cancelled by originator.
