SUBJ:  MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR LTJG MORGAN GARRETT
1. A memorial service will be held to remember and honor LTJG Morgan Garrett
on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 1500 (CST). The service will take place at
the National Naval Aviation Museum, Naval Air Station Pensacola. LTJG Garrett
was a Coast Guard student aviator killed in the crash of a T-6B Texan trainer
aircraft along with her Navy flight instructor LT Rhiannon Ross on
October 23, 2020 in Alabama. LTJG Garrett has been posthumously promoted to
the rank of Lieutenant, Junior Grade.
2. In order to maintain COVID-19 safety precautions while ensuring sufficient
space for family and select personnel, in-person attendance and access to the
service has been strictly limited to those currently assigned to flight training.
A recording of the service will be made available at a later date.  
3. The uniform for active duty attendees will be Service Dress Blue with
combination cover, or equivalent uniform for members of other services.
