WHAT: Coast Guard is conducting an overflight of areas impacted by Hurricane Delta

WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 at 9 a.m.

WHERE: Chennault International Airport, Signature, 3650 Sen. J. Bennett Johnston Ave., Lake Charles, LA, 70615

NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard is scheduled to conduct an overflight Sunday of areas impacted by Hurricane Delta.

 Rear Adm. John Nadeau, commander Coast Guard 8th District, will be aboard a HC-144 Ocean Sentry airplane to conduct assessment operations of areas that may have been damaged by Hurricane Delta. Nadeau will be available for on-camera interviews.

 Media planning to participate in the overflight must arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. Sunday and must follow proper CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
