SUBJ: AY21 AND AY22 RESERVE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT ROADSHOW
SOLICITATION
1. The Reserve Personnel Management (RPM) Division is soliciting
for units interested in receiving RPM’s Assignments and Career
Development Presentation in preparation for Assignment Year 2021 and
2022.
2. RPM-2 Assignment Officers and Central Assignment Coordinators are
available to deliver personnel management overview presentations and
career counseling 01 September-30 November 2020 for AY21 and 01 June
-31 August 2021 for AY22.
3. All AY21 Roadshows will be conducted via teleconference. When
travel is authorized RPM-2 assignment officers will be available for
onsite presentations. CDR Andrew Younkle is the Roadshow's Point of
Contact. Commands desiring a RPM presentation should submit an email
request with the subject line “AY21/22 Roadshow” to
Andrew.R.Younkle@uscg.mil by 30SEP2020 for AY21 or 01May2021 for AY22.
Requests should include the following information:
   a. Command point of contact (POC).
   b. Names of units expected to attend (if submitting a
   consolidated request).
   c. Estimated number of participants.
   d. Preferred and alternate dates for presentation.
4. Our presentation will cover a vast array of topics from officer
and enlisted assignments, transfer requests, career progression,
Reasonable Commuting Distance, High Year Tenure, and Senior Enlisted
Reserve Advisor requirements. The presentations will cover
information that will benefit all Reserve personnel regardless of
rating or tour completion date. We encourage all interested
commands to submit a request to host our team.
5. For units unable to receive an onsite Roadshow presentation, and
have the capability, RPM-2 can coordinate unit wide webinars or
VTCs. Unit POCs and CDR Younkle will determine which communications
medium is most appropriate based on each unit's communications
capabilities.
