Coast Guard opens Port of Jacksonville following Tropical Storm Isaias

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Effective at 12 p.m., Monday, the Coast Guard Captain of the Port opened the Port of Jacksonville following Tropical Storm Isaias. 

Effective at 12 p.m., Monday, Port Canaveral and Fernandina are also open. 

The Captain of the Port set port readiness condition Four and reminds all facilities to review and update their heavy weather response plans and make any additional preparations needed to safely weather any storm that approaches the area.
