SUBJ: CRITICAL FILL SOLICITATION - HSC- USCGC BERTHOLF
A. Military Assignments and Authorized Absences, COMDTINST M1000.8A
1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for the following HSC critical vacancy:

2. Selected member will have a report date OOA 01 OCT 20.  
3. Interested HSC candidates not in receipt of orders
for AY 20 should submit an e-Resume with a command endorsement IAW
reference (A), including backfill requirements NLT 30 JUL 20.
4. Members with the IDHS competency are preferred.  If selected
member does not have the IDHS competency they should expect to
attend the next available IDHS class beginning 17 AUG 2020. 
Report date would be altered to follow graduation date.
5. Members and Commands should review Chapter 1.C.16 of
Reference (A) for assignment criteria for Independent Duty
positions. 
6. If there are no volunteers, all HSCs in paygrade
mismatched positions and HS1s above the cut for HSC will be
considered.
7. As a reminder candidates should ensure their EI-PDR is complete
and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards, and academic
transcripts). Members can request a copy of their official record
by submitting a signed CG memo via e-mail to
ARL-PF-CGPSC-MR_CustomerService@uscg.mil.
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI. The ESS
provides a consolidated view of their information as it appears in
Direct Access. This serves as a means for every Coast Guard member
to review their personal data and to ensure the information in
Direct Access is up to date and accurate.
