1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for the following Coast Guard
Attaché Support position:

2. The member in this position will serve in a attaché support
position at the US Consulate in Hong Kong. This billet is part of a
pilot program within the Defense Attaché Service. Expected duties
include qualifying as a Senior Boat Operator onboard the Consulate's
representational vessel (~40'-50'motor yacht) and, once qualified,
overseeing the qualification process for all other members of the
Defense Attaché Office. Additionally, the member assigned to this
position will be required to conduct operator-level maintenance;
monitor the vessel's maintenance status and contract maintenance
performance in accordance with any existing maintenance contracts;
act as Quality Assurance Representative for any logistics contracts
related to the vessel; and maintaining all required mission
documentation and submitting all required reports.
3. To be considered for selection, interested members must obtain a
command endorsement that addresses member's eligibility as follows:
   a. Meet the minimum standards for Special Duty Assignments as
   stated in 1.E.2.a of Ref A.
   b. Meet requirements for OCONUS assignment IAW 1.H.2 of Ref A.
   Of particular note, applicants cannot have more dependents than
   listed in 1.H.6.b of Ref A.
   c. BMC with at least one previous tour as an OIC/XPO.
   d. At least 5 years experience as a coxswain.
   e. Be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance, and volunteer for a
   counterintelligence scope polygraph.
   f. Immediate family members must be US citizens.
   g. Meet OBLISERV OCONUS requirements IAW 1.B.6.c of Ref A.
   h. Not be within 5 years of a mandatory retirement date.
   i. Meet Coast Guard weight standards.
4. Interested candidates shall submit a PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access using the position number listed above NLT COB 16 OCT 20, in
alignment with the OIC/Senior BM E-Resume deadline. BMCs that are not
screening for OIC, but meet the specific assignment criteria in Paragraph
3, are encouraged to apply for this assignment by submitting an E-resume with
only this position number listed.
5. Anticipated report date for one year of training to Washington,
DC OOA 01 Jul 21, followed by PCS to Hong Kong in summer 2022 for a
three-year assignment. This is an accompanied tour.
6. Coast Guard Attaché Support billets are currently authorized SDAP
level 3 and members receive a civilian clothing allowance. Additional
