SUBJ: APPLICABILITY OF DRUG TESTS FOR RESERVISTS
A. Military Drug and Alcohol Policy, COMDTINST M1000.10A
1. This ACN announces a change to REF (A), regarding applicability to reservists
at all times, regardless of duty status.
2. In REF (A), Ch.1.C. Applicability is changed to read: “This Manual applies
to Coast Guard active duty military members, and to reservists at all times,
regardless of duty status."
3. Commanding Officers and Officers in Charge shall ensure the widest
dissemination of this ACN among all personnel.
4. Policies and standards in REF (A), not specifically addressed by this ACN,
remain unchanged.
5. Questions regarding policy or other human resource management matters may be
directed to the Office of Military Personnel (CG-133) at:
HQS-PolicyandStandards@uscg.mil.
6. Released by RADM J. M. Nunan, Assistant Commandant for Human Resources.
