SUBJ: OFF-SEASON CAPT SOLICITATION FOR COVID-19 CRISIS ACTION TEAM (CCAT) 
A. ALCGPSC 141/19 
1. An off-season CAPT assignment opportunity exists for a Captain or Captain
(select) to serve as co-chair of the Coast Guard Headquarters COVID-19 
Crisis Action Team (CCAT). The anticipated report date is summer 2020.
2. Interested officers should apply via email directly to CAPT Jennifer Sinclair 
at Jennifer.L.Sinclair(AT)uscg.mil or CAPT Matthew Brown at Matthew.T.Brown
(AT)uscg.mil by COB 13 JUL 2020. Requests for consideration must include a 
command endorsement (via email) from the first flag officer in the applicant’s 
chain of command addressing backfill requirements and the acceptability of a 
potential gap. In addition, members in receipt of AY20 PCS orders must include 
a command endorsement via e-mail from the first flag officer in the chain of 
command ordered into.
