A. Naval Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6G
1. This ACN announces an update to REF (A).
2. REF (A) is updated to incorporate policy changes as recommended by the
recently completed Naval Engineering Workforce Shortage and Retention
of Naval Engineering Women Working Groups and updates associated with
the new Officer Specialty Management System (OSMS) 2.0. These updates
are incorporated into Chapter 15 of REF (A).
3. No paper distribution will be made of REF (A) CH1 but it is available
on the CGPortal at: https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/library/SitePages/Home.aspx,
and on the internet at: http://www.dcms.uscg.mil/directives.
