MEDIA ADVISORY: Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Morgan City to hold change of command ceremony
NEW ORLEANS — Cmdr. Heather Mattern, Marine Safety Unit Morgan City commanding officer, will pass on her duties to Cmdr. Ben P. Russell during a change of command ceremony.
Who: Capt. Jerrel “Wade” Russell, commanding officer, Marine Safety Unit Houma, Cmdr. Heather Mattern, commanding officer, Marine Safety Unit Morgan City, Cmdr. Ben P. Russell and Lt. Cmdr. Elizabeth Newton, executive officer, Marine Safety Unit Morgan City.
What: Cmdr. Heather Mattern will transfer her duties as the commanding officer of Marine Safety Unit Morgan City to Cmdr. Ben P. Russell during a change of command ceremony.
When: 8:30 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2020.
Where: Marine Safety Unit Morgan City, 7327 LA-182, Morgan City, LA 70380
