1. This is an update to reference (A) which communicated a hold upon frockings for controlled grade
officers selected for promotion in PY20.
2. ADPL Officers in the grades O4 and O5: those selected for promotion in PY20, frocking is now
authorized as Senate confirmation have been completed.
3. IDPL Officers in the grade of O6: those selected for promotion in PY20, frocking is now authorized as
Senate confirmation for this grade is complete. 
4. ADPL Officers (O6 and above): those selected for PY20, frocking is not authorized until confirmation
by the Senate has been completed.
5. Per reference (A), ADPL officers selected to O6 and above detaching from their unit, frocking is not
authorized since Senate confirmations have not yet occurred. 
6.  OPM-1 has published confirmation results on the OPM-1
Portal site https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/units/psc/psc-opm/1/SitePages/Home.aspx.
7. Frocking requests for ADPL officers in the grades of O4 and O5 that are received per reference (A) will
now be acted on. Frocking requests for ADPL Officers in the grades of O6 and above selected in PY20 will
not be acted on until the confirmation process is complete.
8.  For IDPL officers selected to paygrade O6, who are in receipt of AY20 orders, are now authorized to
be frocked as per reference (I) and their PCS orders.
