Subj:  UPDATE 2 ON THE AUXDATA II PROJECT

 

1.  Validation of the AUXDATA II data migration is nearly complete. The contractor, Acumen Solutions, was expected to correct final data migration issues by Sunday evening, April 26. Creation of system accounts for different user groups has begun on a phased schedule.

 

2.  AUXDATA II District Director of Auxiliary (DIRAUX) User Accounts: These accounts were rolled out last week. System generated emails were sent to primary DIRAUX users (users that have administrative capabilities) by Salesforce to set up their new accounts. For non-primary DIRAUX users (users that do not have administrative capabilities), the system generated emails were blocked by DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency). The Coast Guard’s C4IT Service Center and its Office of C5I Program Management (CG-681) have worked with DISA to resolve this email blocking issue. As an interim work-around, the C4IT Service Center sent individual emails to non-primary DIRAUX users to ensure they can establish their new AUXDATA II accounts.

 

3.  The rollout of Order Issuing Authority (OIA) and Auxiliary user accounts (Auxiliary District Information Services staff officers and Tier 1 Help Desk / Service Request Team) will begin this week (week of April 27).

 

4.  The Chief Director of Auxiliary (CG-BSX) and Auxiliary Leadership will continue to issue informative update messages to all Auxiliarists.

 

5.  Internet release is authorized.
