1. The Coronavirus global pandemic requires our service to prioritize efforts focused on
mission execution, force preservation, and personnel readiness. Consistent with that focus, and
to reduce stress on our workforce during this challenging time, the May 2020 SWE cycle announced
in REF (A) has been cancelled. The 2020 MCAP, originally scheduled for May 2020 per REF (B),
will be postponed until August/September 2020. The November 2020 SWE will encompass testing for
E5-E8.
2. EPM will provide amplifying guidance and FAQs on the 2020 MCAP and November 2020 SWE at
the next possible opportunity. We will strive toward minimal impact on potential advancements
beginning 01 Jan 2021.
