2. Eclipse is a near fifty year old tradition of great significance to the
Coast Guard and to the Coast Guard Academy (CGA). The current public health
crisis necessitates that we take all reasonable steps to protect the health
and well-being of our community members, honorees, and guests. Therefore it
is with great regret that we must cancel Eclipse 2020. As the situation
develops, we will assess the potential of holding at least some of the Eclipse
programming in the near future.
