SUBJ: OFF-SEASON CDR SOLICITATION FOR SAFE HOME INITIATIVE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
1. A potential off-season assignment opportunity exists for a CDR or LCDR
to serve as Safe Home Initiative Technical Support, the position is located
in Alameda, CA and the position number is 00071229. The anticipated report date 
is Summer 2020. The officer selected for this assignment should expect to be tour
complete in the summer of 2021.
2. Interested officers and officers in receipt of AY20 orders should apply via 
Direct Access by COB 22 March 2020. Requests for consideration must include a 
command endorsement addressing backfill requirements and acceptability of a 
potential gap. Members in receipt of AY20 PCS orders may apply with an endorsement
from their prospective command. Members unable to connect to Direct Access may 
request this assignment and submit endorsement via email.
