1. This SITREP updates the status of the AY2020 assignment process
for the Machinery Technician (MK) active duty rating. Orders have
been issued for all AY2020 tour complete MK's. Any AY2020 tour
complete members that have not received orders or have not been
contacted by an MK Assignment Officer (AO) should notify one of
the POCs listed below immediately.
2. The MK AOs intend to fill the remaining AY2020 MKCS, MKC,
MK1, and MK2 vacancies utilizing the upcoming MAY/NOV 2019 SWE
revised cutoffs. If you are included in the upcoming revisions
expect to be considered tour complete as you may be selected to
fill one of the remaining jobs available in AY2020. The remaining
AY2020 MK3 vacancies will be filled by the MK "A" School over
the next several months.
