1. The Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Invitational Golf Tournament will be held
from 06-09 May 2020 at the Barefoot Resort Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
This is the same location as the 2019 tournament.
2. This tournament is open to all Active Duty, Reserve, Auxiliary, Retired and
civilian personnel of the Coast Guard as well as military and civilian dependents
and guests.
3. The tournament consists of 3 days of individual stroke play followed by a team
scramble event on Saturday. To speed up play, multiple courses have been reserved
for each day of play. The basic tournament package consists of 4 rounds of golf,
accommodations for 3 nights, a welcome reception, an awards banquet, and continental
breakfast each morning. Additional rounds of golf and additional nights lodging are
available at discounted rates. Discounted registration is available for Active Duty
personnel, E-6 and below and Civilian employees GS-7 and below. More details on this

4. The registration deadline is 25 MAR 2020. Entries received after that date will be
accepted on a space-available basis.
5. In accordance with paragraph 2.A.10 of REF (A) and subject to command approval,
administrative absence may be authorized for active duty and reserve participants.
Civilian employees wishing to participate in this event may use annual leave, accrued
compensatory time off or earned credit hours (if available), or leave without pay.
6. Enlisted members participating in the MAY SWE should have their exams sent to Exam
OPFAC 05-37080. The ESO for this will be Mr. Gordon Yowell of Sector North Carolina in
Wilmington. These members should contact their unit ESO immediately to notify them of
the change in exam OPFAC for their tests.
