SUBJ: PY20 RESERVE CWO APPOINTMENT BOARD SPECIALTY ANNOUNCEMENT

B. Appointing Warrant Officers, COMDTINST M1420.1 (series)
1. Per REF A, the following CWO specialties will be considered for
Reserve CWO Appointments on the PY20 Reserve CWO Appointment Board
convening 13 April 2020:
   Electronics (ELC)
   Naval Engineering (ENG)
   Intelligence Systems Specialist (ISS)
   Boatswain (BOSN)
2. Applications shall be submitted via "My Panel Applications" in
Direct Access. Applicants shall follow the Reserve Component CWO
Appointment Guide when submitting their application. The guide can be located
on the CG PSC-RPM webpage at: https://www.dcms.uscg.mil/RPM-1/Boards_and_Panels/.
Do not submit E-Resumes requesting SELRES assignment to individual positions.
3. Any member wishing to apply to a CWO specialty that is outside of their normal
path to appointment must meet the requirements listed in REF B, Article 3.K.1.
4. CWO applications for specialties not listed above will not be considered by the
PY20 CWO Appointment Board. Appointments are based upon projected vacancies.
