Coast Guard Station Burlington to host ice rescue training
BOSTON — Crew members from Coast Guard Station Burlington and members from Coast Guard units across the First District are scheduled to hold ice rescue training Jan. 21-22.
WHO: Coast Guard Station Burlington, crew members from the First District ice breaking cutters.
WHAT: Ice Rescue training is scheduled for Jan. 21, and will consist of self-rescue, assisting and transporting survivors and training Jan. 22 will consist of shuttle board and reach techniques.
WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 8 a.m.
