1. This ACN announces the promulgation of REF (A) and subsequent
cancellation of REF (B).
2. REF (A) is an update to the Coast Guard resource management policy.
It incorporates changes to supporting policy and doctrine, incorporates
new policies and corrects editorial errors. Paragraph 7 of the letter of
promulgation annotates the major changes. 
3. There will be no hardcopy distribution of this Manual.
4. REF (A) and all supporting policy documents are posted on the
COMDT (CG-612) web sites at: http://www.dcms.uscg.mil/directives and
CGPortal: https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/library/SitePages/Home.aspx and on
