Coast Guard responders seek help to identify owner of overturned vessel in Malina Bay, Alaska.

KODIAK, Alaska — Coast Guard Sector Anchorage watchstanders are seeking the public's help to identify a vessel found overturned in Malina Bay, Thursday.

Anyone with information on the possible owner of the orange 22-foot schooner or information regarding who may have been aboard, contact sector watchstanders at 907-428-4100.

Around 4 p.m., sector watchstanders received a report of the vessel after it was located by a mariner aboard the fishing vessel Double O.

Sector watchstanders issued an Urgent Marine Information Broadcast notice to mariners and an MH-60 Helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak is en route to conduct a search of the area.
