Coast Guard seeks public comments on

Hood River - White Salmon Bridge Replacement Project

SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is seeking public comments related to navigation on the proposed Hood River - White Salmon Highway Bridge Replacement Project.

The Hood River - White Salmon Bridge Replacement Project, which was formerly named the State Route 35 Columbia River Crossing Project, would construct a replacement bridge and remove the existing bridge between White Salmon, Washington and Hood River, Oregon.

Public Notice 07-19 solicits comment and is available at https://www.navcen.uscg.gov/D13BN.

The public is highly encouraged to carefully review this notice, and then provide comments with regard to the proposed bridge's ability to meet the reasonable needs of navigation.

Questions or comments can be addressed to the 13th Coast Guard District's Bridge Administrator, Mr. Steve Fischer, at 206-220-7282, or D13-PF-D13BRIDGES@uscg.mil.
