MEDIA ADVISORY: Coast Guard Academy to host Wetmore Ethics Forum

 

NEW LONDON, Conn. —Media representatives are invited to cover the 30th annual Wetmore Ethics Forum at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Friday.

The annual Wetmore Ethics Forum, named for the late Rear Adm. Thomas T. Wetmore, III, consists of sessions with leaders from across the Coast Guard and academia sharing perspectives on core values in the chain of command and respect in the workplace.

This year the Academy has two speakers. Frank DeVita, a retired Coast Guardsman who participated in D-Day, will be hosting a Q&A session in Dimmick Auditorium at 10 a.m. Kwame Appiah will be giving the keynote address in Leamy Hall Auditorium at 1:15 p.m.

This event is not open to the public.
