CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas The Coast Guard medevaced a crewmember from the sailing vessel Impatience approximately 20 miles offshore of Port Aransas, Texas, Friday.

Coast Guard Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders received a call from a member onboard the Impatience requesting a medevac for a 34-year-old male crewmember who was dehydrated and experiencing symptoms of extreme sea sickness. Watchstanders consulted with the duty flight surgeon who recommended the medevac.
