SYSTEM MAINTENANCE TACTICS, TECHNIQUES, AND PROCEDURES (TTP), CGTTP 4-07.3
A. National Security Cutter (NSC) External Communications (EXCOMMS) System
Maintenance TTP, CGTTP 4-07.3
1. This ACN announces the promulgation of REF (A). It will be reviewed by
all NSC EXCOMMS maintainers and Electronics Material Officer (EMO) conducting
EXCOMMS preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and level 1 repair.
2. This publication provides the Coast Guard Electronics Technician (ET) and
Information Systems Technician (IT) community with detailed guidance for
standardization focusing on NSC EXCOMMS systems maintenance and safety procedures.
This TTP is intended primarily for USCGC BERTHOLF (750), USCGC WAESCHE (751),
USCGC STRATTON (752), USCGC HAMILTON (753), USCGC JAMES (754), and USCGC MUNRO
(755). USCGC KIMBALL (756), USCGC MIDGETT (757), and USCGC STONE (758) are not
included due to EXCOMMS baseline equipment variations.     
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by Force Readiness
Command Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP library. The TTP library can
be accessed by navigating to CGPortal, selecting ‘Training & Education,' then
selecting ‘Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.'
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for their time,
professionalism, and diligence. IPT partners who supported this effort include
