The Rednour Award Program honors six categories of Coast Guard Dining

and small CGDF afloat as defined in REF (A). The program also honors
one Culinary Specialist (CS) of the Year. These awards are presented
annually and are designed to recognize those units and CSs who consistently
epitomize the best in culinary service professionalism.
2. In addition to the requirements contained in REF (A), this ACN introduces
the following conditions:
    a. Photos. Photos are not limited for this years submission package for
the Forrest O Rednour Award and CS of the Year. Photos of the complete galley
staff, culinary artistry, customer service interaction, special events, holiday
meals, and receptions are highly recommended. Photos shall be professional
and relevant to the CS rating. Compile all photos into a slideshow using
Microsoft PowerPoint.
    b. All units submitting a Rednour Award nomination for their CGDF are
highly encouraged to also submit a CS of the Year nomination for an
individual who played a key role in the success of the unit’s dining facility.
Please ensure that the nomination for the dining facility and CS of the Year
(if submitted) are separate submissions. A Command Endorsement is required
for each package submitted.
    c. For CS of the Year, the nominee must be assigned to the present unit
for a minimum of six months as of 01 January 2020.
    d. The records submission requirement is reduced to the most current 6 months
of examined CGDF reports.
    e. Enclosure (2) in REF (A) states that unit submissions will be in a
six-part folder. For this nomination cycle, all documents required in the
submission package shall be uploaded and submitted.
Email recipients shall be: HQS-SMB-CULINARYPROGRAM@USCG.MIL and CSC Eric Toler
at eric.r.toler@uscg.mil. Follow instructions for submitting nomination files
