Unified command to hold press conference regarding San Jacinto River Fleet Incident
HOUSTON — Members of the media are invited to join the San Jacinto River Fleet Unified Command for a press conference for updates on response efforts.

- United States Coast Guard: Cmdr. Nicole Rodriguez, federal on-scene coordinator
- Texas Department of Transportation: Emily Black, spokesperson for state on-scene coordinator for transportation and infrastructure
- Texas General Land Office: Jeffrey Davis, regional manager for state on-scene coordinator monitoring for pollution
- Canal Barge Company: Joe Tyson, senior vice president
Photography and video is permitted during the press briefing.
At approximately 12 a.m. Friday, nine barges broke away from their moorings. Currently two barges are lodged beneath I-10 on the San Jacinto River. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
