Coast Guard, partner agencies to conduct bomb threat drill

 

BOSTON — The Coast Guard is scheduled to conduct a joint interagency bomb threat drill Thursday at Base Boston.

WHO: U.S. Coast Guard cutter Escanaba, U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston, Boston Police Department, Boston Bomb Squad, and Cataldo Ambulance Service.

WHAT: A bomb threat drill designed to enhance interoperability, readiness, and response tactics.

WHEN: Sept. 12 at 9 a.m.

WHERE: U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston, 427 Commercial St., Boston, MA 02109

Media credentials will be required for access. Please contact Ensign Jack Brandt at john.j.brandt@uscg.mil to RSVP by 3 p.m., Sept. 11. Members of the media are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m.
