Coast Guard reopens Port of Wilmington less than 24 hours after Dorian hits
WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Coast Guard Captain of the Port for North Carolina opened the Port of Wilmington with restrictions on Friday afternoon.
The Port of Wilmington is open to all traffic, but is restricted to daylight hours only.
Mariners should transit ports with extreme caution due to the possibility of aids-to-navigation discrepancies or other hazards to navigation.
