SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Coast Guard Captain of the Port San Juan announced Thursday afternoon that all ports in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are open and operating under Port Condition Four following the passing of Hurricane Dorian through the area.

Coast Guard port assessment teams finalized assessments in the remaining eastern ports of Fajardo, Ceiba, Vieques and Culebra, Puerto Rico at approximately 5:40 p.m. Thursday, after deteriorated weather conditions remaining from Hurricane Dorian caused a temporary delay.

During Port Condition FOUR, port facilities are open to all commercial vessel traffic and port transfer operations may continue and return to normal.
