1. REFs (A) and (B) direct Commanding Officers, Officers in Charge, Supervisors, and
Managers to ensure their commands comply with Equal Employment Opportunity/Equal
Opportunity (EEO/EO) regulations, policies, and procedures.
2. The Civil Rights Command Checklist is a self-assessment tool that assists unit
commands with these requirements.
3. Commands of units with 50 or more positions, as indicated on the Personnel
Allowance List (PAL), are required to complete the Command Checklist, each year,
by 31 October.
4. During the month of September, Civil Rights Service Providers (CRSPs) will
contact commands to offer assistance with the checklist tool. They will also help
the command with developing plans to correct any non-compliant items.
5. The Command Checklist is presented in Appendix G of REF (A).
