 Coast Guard, TP&W, and NOAA OLE to discuss outcome of Operation Reel-It-In in Corpus Christi, Texas

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Coast Guard Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi, along with Texas Parks and Wildlife and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries Office for Law Enforcement, is scheduled to hold a media event to discuss the outcome of Operation Reel-It-In and what the public should expect of a charter vessel to ensure their safety while underway. Operation Reel-It-In was conducted from Aug. 14-17, 2019 and focused on illegal charter operations. The goal of the operation was to promote the safety of charter vessel operations and enforce applicable regulations to uninspected passenger vessels.
