Coast Guard searching for overdue jet skier near South Padre Island, Texas
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coast Guard is searching for an overdue jet skier who was last seen between Port Isabel and South Padre Island, Texas, Sunday.
Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders received a report of an overdue 27-year-old man who was due to return his rented jet ski at 5 p.m.
Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched a Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircrew and a Station South Padre Island 33-foot Special Purpose Craft–Law Enforcement boat crew. The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Alligator were diverted to the scene.
The jet ski is reported to be green with the number three on the front.

- A Station South Padre Island 33-foot Special Purpose Craft–Law Enforcement boat crew
