SUBJ:  QUALIFIED RECYCLING PROGRAM ANNUAL REPORTING REQUIREMENT
A. Coast Guard Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) Policy, COMDTINST 16477.5
1. In accordance with REF (A) Section 11.b, all units with authorized QRP must
submit a completed annual report form (RCN 16477-01) detailing the unit's
financial gains due to the sale of recyclable materials NLT 30 June of each year.
2. COMDT (CG-47) has extended the reporting date for 2018 data to 30 August 2019.
3. Units that can not comply with the reporting requirement by 30 August should
notify COMDT (CG-47) before 30 August and provide a revised timeframe for meeting
the reporting requirements. Reasonable extension requests will be authorized.
4. Failure to comply with this reporting requirement will result in a unit's QRP
authorization being revoked.
5. Units with a revoked QRP will not be permitted to sell recyclable materials.
