1. In accordance with REF (A), OMSEP provides baseline, periodic and exit
examinations for Coast Guard personnel exposed to potentially harmful
occupational substances and conditions. REF (B) directed that Active Duty and
Selected Reserve OMSEP enrollments and examination dates be entered into MRRS.
Currently, the original OMSEP database is still used to track civilian OMSEP
enrollments and examination dates.
2. OMSEP database access will be suspended on 26 Jul 19 to prepare for the
01 Aug 19 transfer of civilian OMSEP enrollments and examination dates. After
then, OMSEP records for all Coast Guard personnel will be tracked in MRRS.
3. The Health, Safety, and Work-Life Service Center (HSWL SC) will release a
Technical Directive to provide detailed instructions for maintaining civilian
records in MRRS.
4. This update incorporates the most recent revision of REF (A).
