Pre/Post Storm Barge Fleet Reporting

The Captain of the Port (COTP), Sector New Orleans has requested that all barge fleets within the Lower Mississippi River (LMR) from Mile Marker (MM) 00 to MM 167 Above Head of Passes (AHP) report the following information.

Pre-storm (24 hours prior to landfall) / Post-storm (as soon as practicable):
• Name and location of barge fleet to include MM and right descending or left descending bank.
• Number of barges within the fleet, pre/post storm.

All reports should be submitted to the Sector New Orleans Facility Compliance Branch via email to: facilitiesnola@uscg.mil. In the event of a known barge breakaway, the Sector New Orleans Command Center shall be notified immediately.
