SUBJ: OFF-SEASON CDR ASSIGNMENT SOLICITATION FOR PORT PREVENTION CHIEF 
1. A potential off-season assignment opportunity exists for a CDR
to serve as the Port Prevention Chief, Commandant (CG-FAC-1), Washington, DC
Position No. 00030130 with an estimated report date of 01 Sep 2019. The officer 
selected for this assignment should expect to be tour complete in the 
summer of 2023.
2. Interested officers should submit an e-resume by COB 8 Jul 2019.  
Requests for consideration must include a command endorsement addressing 
backfill requirements and acceptability of a potential gap. Members in 
receipt of orders in AY19 may also be considered for this assignment. 
Members unable to connect to Direct Access may request this assignment 
and submit endorsement via email.
