Media Advisory: Media invited to attend press briefing on dangers of boating under the influence

 

WHO: U.S. Coast Guard, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Philadelphia Police Department, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and other organizations.

WHAT: Agency representatives will discuss the dangers and repercussions of boating under the influence.

WHERE:  Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay, 1 Washington Avenue, Philadelphia, 19147

WHEN: 10:30 a.m., June 27th, 2019.

 

PHILADELPHIA – The U.S. Coast Guard, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Philadelphia Police Department Marine Division, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and other organizations will discuss the dangers and repercussions of boating under the influence during a press briefing outside of Coast Guard Station Philadelphia at 10:30 a.m., Thursday.

Following the discussion from principle speakers, members of the Philadelphia Police Department will demonstrate boarding a vessel under the control of an impaired operator.
