1. OVERVIEW:
    A. In addition to the O6 and O5 commands being screened 
in Ref A, the following command has been updated and will 
be incorporated into the SCSP convening on 19 Aug 2019. To 
be considered by the SCSP, officers must comply with the 
provisions listed in Ref B, which announces the updated 
screening requirements and overall eligibility criteria. 
The updated instruction has been saved to the CG Portal in 
the OPM Reference Library in the AY20 Senior Command 
Screening Panel Folder at http://cglink.uscg.mil/4e8b7648.
    B. Officers who desire consideration must apply in 
Direct Access as outlined in Ref A. Due to the addition of 
this command and the update to PSCINST 1401.1, Ref B, the 
adjusted deadline for all SCSP applications is 28 JUN 2019.   
Specific instructions to apply in Direct Access are 
provided in paragraph 7 of Ref A.
