SUBJ: PROMULGATION OF HELICOPTER HOISTING FOR NON-FLIGHT DECK VESSELS TACTICS,
TECHNIQUES, AND PROCEDURES (TTP), CGTTP 3-91.26
A. Helicopter Hoisting for Non-Flight Deck Vessels (HHSV) TTP, CGTTP 3-91.26
1. REF (A) is promulgated and shall be reviewed by all helicopter aircrew
personnel and operational boat and cutter commanders involved in conducting
Helicopter Hoisting for Non-Flight Deck Vessels (HHSV) evolutions.
2. This publication provides Coast Guard boat and cutter personnel with detailed
guidance for helicopter hoisting to non-flight deck vessels operational and
safety procedures.
Additionally, this TTP publication provides helicopter aircrew members with
familiarization of surface crewmembers' procedural guidance and tasks when
conducting helicopter hoisting for non-flight deck vessel evolutions in order
to enhance aircrew situational awareness.
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by Force Readiness
Command Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP library. The TTP library can
be accessed by navigating to CGPortal, selecting ‘Training & Education,' then
selecting ‘Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.'
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for their time,
