MEDIA ADVISORY: CGA Commencement 2019 media credential requirements

NEW LONDON, Conn. – U.S. National Security Advisor Ambassador John R. Bolton is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's 138th commencement exercise Wednesday.

Media interested in covering this event MUST email requests for credentials to the Academy Public Affairs Office at cga-public-affairs@uscga.edu before 4 p.m. Monday, May 20. 

Email requests must include:

  • Name of media representative and media affiliation
  • Job being performed (i.e. reporter, photographer)
  • Cell number
  • Email address

    The event is not open to the public, and attendance is by invitation only.  

    Parking arrangements for media covering the event will be shared in a forthcoming media advisory.
