SUBJ: OFF-SEASON SOLICITATION - HS1 - BASE SJ CLINIC BR (HHC)

B. Screening for Overseas Duty, PSCINST 1300
1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for the following HS vacancy:

2. Selected member will have a report date OOA 01 Aug 2018.  
3. Interested HS1 or HS2's above the cut for HS1 not in receipt of
orders for AY 19 should submit an e-Resume with a command
endorsement IAW reference (A) and (B), including backfill
requirements NLT 29 APR 19.
4. Due to the nature of this position members who have the linguist
competency for Spanish are preferred. 
5. Commanding Officers or designee shall review Chapter 1.C.16 of
Reference (A) for assignment criteria for Independent Duty. 
Members and their dependents must complete the overseas screening
CG-1300 forms as outlined in articles 3.b. (1) and 5.a. of reference
(B). Additional information can be found on the Overseas Screening

6. Members are reminded to place the following statement on their
e-resume: "I, along with my family (if applicable), have reviewed
form CG-1300 Parts I-III, and meet the criteria for overseas unit
assignment as outlined in PSCINST 1300 (series), and received a
positive command endorsement.  
7. As a reminder candidates should ensure their EI-PDR is complete
and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards, and academic
transcripts). Members can request a copy of their official record
by submitting a signed CG memo via e-mail to
ARL-PF-CGPSC-MR_CustomerService@uscg.mil.
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI. The ESS
provides a consolidated view of their information as it appears in
Direct Access. This serves as a means for every Coast Guard member
to review their personal data and to ensure the information in
Direct Access is up to date and accurate.
