SUBJ: ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 2019 COAST GUARD EXCHANGE SYSTEM (CGX)
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WINNERS
1. I am pleased to announce the winners of the annual Coast Guard Exchange System (CGX) Scholarship Program.  These scholarships are awarded based upon academic achievements, accomplishments, interests, and demonstrated leadership in both school and volunteer activities.
2. Two individuals were selected to receive a 2,000 dollar scholarship:
     a. Juliana Bates, daughter of LCDR James Bates Jr., USCG Ret.
     b. Anthony Lorenz, son of LT Christopher Lorenz, USCGR.
