SUBJ: OFF-SEASON LCDR ASSIGNMENT SOLICITATION FOR D17 COMMAND CENTER CHIEF AND D17 
INCIDENT MANAGEMENT BRANCH
1. A potential off-season assignment opportunity exists for a LCDR to serve as the D17 Command Center 
Chief Pos No. 00081347 with an estimated report date of 01 July 2019. The officer selected for this 
assignment should expect to be tour complete in the summer of 2022.
2. A potential off-season assignment opportunity exists for a LCDR to serve as the D17 Incident 
Management Branch Duty Position No. 00053284 with an estimated report date of 01 July 2019.  The 
officer selected for this assignment should expect to be tour complete in the summer of 2023.
3. Interested officers should submit an e-resume by COB 22 MAR 2019. Requests for consideration must 
include a command endorsement addressing backfill requirements and acceptability of a potential gap. 
Members in receipt of orders in AY19 may also be considered for this assignment. Members unable to 
connect to Direct Access may request this assignment and submit endorsement via email.
