SUBJ: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION CENTER (UDC) FOR ONLINE MILITARY UNIFORM ORDERS THROUGH SHOPCGX.COM
1.  Due to the partial government shutdown, UDC is currently staffed to only support the recruit training mission, and as a result SHOPCGX.COM will temporarily discontinue accepting online uniform orders for UDC fulfillment.  UDC will continue to fulfill existing orders as soon as possible, however due to the furlough, customers should expect delays in receipt of uniform items previously ordered through UDC.
2. All Coast Guard Exchange (CGX) retail stores remain open and operating on normal schedules, and will be the primary resource for required military uniform items. 
3. Commands are encouraged to ensure widest dissemination of this ALCGPSC.
