1. This ACN announces promulgation of REFs (A) and (B) and the cancellation of REF (C).
2. REF (A) is a complete revision to REF (C) to align with requirements mandated
by Occupational Safety and Health Administration: Control of Hazardous Energy
(Lockout/Tags-Plus), 29 CFR 1915.89.
3. The core contents of REF (C) have been revised and documented within REFs (A) and (B).
REF (B) provides all necessary procedural guidance and information for the end user to
comply with policy in REF (A).
4. No paper distribution will be made of REF (A) but is available on the CGPortal at:
https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/library/SitePages/Home.aspx, and on the internet at:
http://www.dcms.uscg.mil/directives.
5. No paper distribution will be made of REF (B) but is available on the CGPortal
at: https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/communities/hp/HPCenter/TTP/Default.aspx.
