A. Machinery Space Firefighting (MSF) Medium Endurance Cutter 210
(WMEC) Tactics, Technique, and Procedures, CGTTP 3-91.17
1. REF (A) is promulgated and shall be reviewed by all 210 ft WMEC
Commanding Officers (CO's) and all cutter personnel conducting
firefighting in a machinery space onboard 210 WMECs.
2. REF (A) offers best practices for CO’s for prevention of and
response to a machinery space fire, to include updated cutter
specific checklists.
3. The official electronic version of REF (A) is maintained by
Force Readiness Command Training Division (FC-T) within the TTP
library. The TTP library can be accessed by navigating to CGPortal,
selecting ‘Training & Education,' then selecting ‘Tactics, Techniques,
and Procedures.'
4. Bravo Zulu to members of the Integrated Process Team (IPT) for
their time, professionalism, and diligence. IPT partners who
supported this effort include COMDT (CG-452), ATO LANT, HSWL (se),
SFLC, and the 210 WMEC fleet.
