Coast Guard cutter returns home to St. Petersburg after 59-day counter-drug patrol in the Eastern Pacific Ocean

The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Venturous (WMEC 625), a 210-foot Reliance class cutter homeported in St. Petersburg, Florida, returns to their homeport Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 following a 59-day law enforcement patrol in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. During this patrol, the crew transited more than 10,000 miles and patrolled the waters west of Central America and South America to combat transnational organized crime in support of the Coast Guard’s Western Hemisphere Strategy and Operation Martillo.
