Florence ESF-10 Joint Information Center demobilizes

 

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The ESF-10 Joint Information Center for the Hurricane Florence pollution-mitigation mission is demobilizing on November 12th, 2018. The JIC hotline (757) 633-2607 and esf10florence@gmail.com inbox will no longer be available. 

The Hurricane Florence ESF-10 Unified Command was made up of the USCG, North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. After the Incident Command Post demobilizes, the below organizations can be contacted for applicable reports or questions:

 

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission can be contacted for any reports of vessels creating a hazard to navigation in a navigable waterway at: 919-707-4041. 

 

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality can be contacted for any reports of vessels in State Reserves or Environmentally Sensitive Areas: 919-707-8670. 

 

The USCG Sector North Carolina Command Center can be contacted for any reports of vessels creating a hazard to navigation in a federal waterway at: 919-722-4884. 

 

The National Response Center can be contacted for any reports of pollution discharges, or hazardous material release into the environment at: 1-800-424-8824. Please call the NRC for any reports of active sheening.
